I have to be "inside," my writing thought process. This means I have to have a good quote that would catch the eye. I was thinking over all the books and then came upon Catching Echoes in my Bookbub recommended list. To be honest, the cover did affect my choice, but once I started reading I just knew I would need to read the following two novels in the trilogy.
