In 2018 she and her partner were investigating a body found in Whitney State forest. As she chases leads, her path crosses with journalist Tyler Ford.  They become entangled in a complex entanglement of circumstances. The case of the serial killer dubbed John the Baptist has both of them crossing professional lines . As they work together to untangle the leads, they place their lives in danger to catch the killer. This is a good clean mystery, with very little violence and no sexual content and very little cursing.  The story has interesting twists and keeps you guessing who the killer might be.
